THE LEAD:

The Blazers opened up a 12-3 halftime lead in improving to 3-1 at home this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Jodin opened the game on fire, scoring the first two goals of the game and four of the first seven to get Elms off and running.

Dean did get a goal from Lauryn Wilks (Hartford, Conn.) during that flurry and then another from Makayla Fisher (Irvington, N.J.) to close the gap and when Nicole Romero (Winchendon, Mass.) registered her second career tally, the Bulldogs were within six at 9-3.

The Blazers responded by scoring the final three goals of the half and then the first five of the second stanza to make the game, 17-3.

Fisher scored again before Elms closed out the scoring highlighted by the eighth and final tally from Jodin.
