HOW IT HAPPENED:

Dean slowly climbed back to even the score when Landon Fish (New Port Richey, Fla.) drove in a run with a single in the first, Matt Callahan (Attleboro, Mass.) delivered another run in the second when he cracked a single to center. Fish then tied the game with his second RBI single to center in the third.

After Curry scored an unearned run in the fourth, the Bulldogs knocked in another run when Vincent Buonaiuto (Danbury, Conn.) brought home Dakari Cox (Needham, Mass.) with a single to center.

The Colonels answered back with three runs in the fifth, highlighted by Moreau's two-run homerun to right field.

Dean pushed three runs across in the bottom of the sixth as Brian Hadden (Newburyport, Mass.) drew a bases loaded walk, Fish drove in another with a sacrifice fly and then Ben Chajet (Hillsboro Beach, Fla.) drew another bases loaded walk to make the score 8-7.

Curry got some breathing room when Dylan Ketterer recorded a sacrifice fly in the seventh and then put the game away with a two-run double in the top of the ninth.
