Framingham State racked up 37 kills in just three sets and the host Rams posted a 3-0 (25-12, 25-9, 25-10) win over Dean College in non-league women's volleyball action on Monday evening.

The win for FSU is their third in their last four matches, while the Bulldogs have dropped four of their last six.

Brandee Thomas recorded her match-best 11 kills on 20 attempts with just one error for a .500 attack percentage. 

Brandey Rodriguez added four kills on 11 attempts with seven service aces and three digs, while classmate Grace Caughey chipped in with five kills, three aces and eight defensive digs.

Mackenzie Whalen tallied a game-high 22 assists with five digs, while Deidre Fay (Cornwall, NY) added five kills, six digs, three aces and two assists. 

The Bulldogs were led by three kills apiece from Melanie Rios-Nevarez (Vega Alta, Puerto Rico) and Tara Griffith (Los Angeles, Calif.). Rios-Nevarez also added six digs.

Kait Anderson (Clinton, Conn.) added two kills, two service aces and six digs, while Samantha Trullo (Chelmsford, Mass.) added five digs and two kills.

After seven straight road matches, Dean returns home for back-to-back matches beginning with Thursday's matchup with Nichols. First serve is slated for 7:00 p.m.
