HOW IT HAPPENED:
The contest was close early on with both Briana Saunders (Irvington, N.J.) and Lauryn Wilks (Hartford, Conn.) scoring on a free position shots and Wilks adding another to make the score 5-3 more than half way through the opening half.

The Eagles stepped on the gas however, scoring ten of the next 11 goals in the half to take a commanding 15-4 halftime lead.

Two more Husson scores came through to start the second half before Saunders scored again for Dean, but once again, the Eagles went on a scoring spree to close out the game. Saunders' strike with a little more than 25 minutes left in the game was the Bulldogs' final goal and Husson netted the final seven, including Deshaies' record-breaking tally with 1:01 left.
