Northampton, Mass. – The Dean College men's cross country squad opened up their 2018 season with a sixth place finish on Saturday at the Smith College Invitational.

The Lead:
Freshman Yuriy Buttrick (Georgetown, Mass.) finished 38th with a time of 30:52.

The Rundown:

  • Sophomore Ryan Glynn (Abington, Mass.) finished 42nd with a time of 31:50.
  • Junior Ross Rubin (Annadale, Va.) finished 44th with a time of 32:34.
  • Sophomore Matt Alport (Glen Rock, N.J.) finished 49th with a time of 34:25.
  • Sophomore John LaMagna (Ossining, N.Y.) finished 56th with a time of 37:25.
  • Freshman Sebastian Wisnivesky (Scarsdale, N.Y.) finished 58th with a time of 38:46.
  • Sophomore Paul Ridikas (Norwood, Mass.) finished 59th with a time of 40:33.
  • Sophomore Hunter White (Sherborn, Mass.) finished 60th with a time of 40:33.
  • Freshman Tran Hennessy (Queens, N.Y.) finished 61st with a time of 41:02.
  • Freshman Cameron Barnes (Haverhill, Mass.) finished 62nd with a time of 41:16.
  • Senior Alec McCulloch (Upton, Mass.) finished 63rd with a time of 41:30.
