Men's Volleyball Drops A Pair At Johnson & Wales

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island- The Dean College Bulldogs Men's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Saturday, falling to Johnson and Wales and Eastern Nazerene.

In match 1, the Bulldogs fell to Johnson and Wales.  JWU overpowered Dean in three sets.  The Bulldogs fought hard in the first set, losing 25-16, but they struggled in the last two sets (25-6 & 25-5).

Dean was led by Logan Muise who had 4 kills on 8 attemps.  Moussa Seck also had 2 kills and Gabriel McCLain and Dean Bennett had 4 and 3 assists, respectively.  

Dean contended in the second match against Eastern Nazarene.  They lost the first set 25-16 and the final set 25-18, while coming up short in the second set 25-11.  

They were led by Seck's 8 kills on 24 attempts.  McClain had 6 assists and Bennett led the team with 5 digs.  

Dean next plays Newbury College at Hellenic College's gymnasium.  The game is set for Saturday, March 18th, at 11 AM.
