THE LEAD:
Felipe Campos
(Brockton, Mass.) scored his third goal in his last two games and that offense would be all that Dean would need in a 1-0 win over Clark University in non-league men's soccer action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Campos and the Bulldogs wasted little time getting on the board when he recorded an unassisted strike in the match's 14th minute, giving the Bulldogs an early 1-0 advantage.

That lead would stand, as Nathan Silveira (East Providence, R.I.) backstopped the visitors, making six saves enroute to his second shutout of the season.

Clark had their best scoring chance of the day in the 89th minute when Patrick Clark saw his shot ring off the crossbar at 88:24.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

The Cougars held a 17-11 advantage in shots and a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.

UP NEXT:

Dean is back in action on next Sunday when they host Saint Joseph (Vermont) at 2:00 p.m.
