Holden, Mass. – For the second time this week and the third time in the last four tournaments, Dean College senior Austin McCreary (Northampton, Mass.) took home individual medalist honors, this time finishing in a tie for first at the season-ending Becker College Invitational.
Nichols took home the team title with a score of 311 (+19) and they were followed by their "B" team in second place (+35) and then the Cardinal and White (+44).
McCreary fired a two-over 75 to finish in a tie with Bison star Reece McLeod.
He was at his best on the par fives at the Wachusett Country Club, going through those holes at an impressive four under par.
Freshman Charlie Banks (Hanover, Mass.) continues to shine, finishing in ninth place with a round of 82 (+9), while Michael McAuliffe (Dunstable, Mass.) was next for Bulldogs just two strokes back (+11).
Vinny Convertino (Canton, Mich.) (+22) and Harry Caslowicz (Providence, R.I.) (+33) closed out the scoring for the Cardinal and White.
