Men's Golf Tops Falcons In Head-To-Head Showdown

New Haven, Conn. – For the second tournament this week, senior Austin McCreary (Northampton, Mass.) finished atop the individual leaderboard to guide Dean College to a team title, this time in a head-to-head showdown with Albertus Magnus on Friday afternoon at the Alling Memorial Golf Course

The Bulldogs posted a team round of 339, while the Falcons, playing on their home course finished with a score of 377 on the par-72, 6,248-yard layout.

McCreary fired a round of 75 (+3), finishing ten strokes ahead of teammates Michael McAuliffe (Dunstable, Mass.) and Owen Madigan-Fried (Swampscott, Mass.), who finished tied for second.

Dean's final two players were Harry Caslowitz (Providence, R.I.) and Chris DeLuca (Raritan, N.J.)  – both who carded rounds of 94.

The Bulldogs are back in action this weekend when they take part in the Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms College on Sunday and Monday.
