THE LEAD:
Regis College scored all six of their goals in the first half and the host Pride posted a 6-0 win over Dean College in non-league field hockey action on Thursday evening.

The Pride scored five goals in the game's first ten minutes to seize control of the game and snapping a five-game losing streak.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Aineen Callahan
got Regis off and running with her eighth goal of the season just 2:35 into the game. Mackenzie Cattaruzza followed with an unassisted strike a little less than three minutes later and then Ashley Chipman added back-to-back goals to push the Pride to a 4-0 advantage.

Jillian Schneyer then scored the fifth goal and then assisted on the sixth, which came off of the stick of Jamie Juskiewicz at 33:30 to cap all of the scoring.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Amari Dias
(Brockton, Mass.) recorded seven saves in goal for the Bulldogs who were outshot 19-0.

Dean returns to action on Sunday with a home NECC contest against Becker College. That game is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
